As third generation jeweler, for Ricardo Basta and his family, the fourth generation, being a craftsman is a passion. Within his atelier, Ricardo utilizes old world techniques learned through his apprenticeship from European trained Master Jewelers and combines modern techniques he has acquired from the newest technology of today. This masterful combination gives each piece the sought after, Basta touch.
Ricardo has garnered over 44 Jewelry Design Awards and industry accolades in his on-going career. The opportunity of each competition compels Ricardo to broaden his creative canvas. Ricardo and his expert team of jewelers work harmoniously creating one-of-a-kind works of art, a process which could take two to three years to fruition.
Custom design begins with the vision of the finished piece; from fabricating at the bench, creating a hand carved wax, to computer assisted design and possibly custom cutting and polishing specific gems. Each and every aspect of your custom design is created all under one roof, in the atelier of Ricardo Basta.
